A horseback ride for initiation and discovery

  • A horseback ride along the edge of the natural reserve of the Etang de Vaccarès, visit of the wildlife and flora, discovery of a Camargue bull-breeding farm, when in the season (spring through to autumn).

The Evasion horseback ride

  • Via the beaches and along the sea front, in the direction of Saintes Maries de la Mer, the ride includes a passage through marshes and a gallop along the sea front for the more experienced. Visit of a Camargue bull breeding farm, from spring through till autumn.

Discovery Day Out on horseback

Departure at 10am, walking through pools and marshes, visit of a Camargue bull-breeding farm (from spring through to autumn).
Horseride along the sea front, gallops guaranteed for the experienced riders.
Lunch on the beach.
Return via the natural reserve and along the border between the Etang de Vaccarès and Camargue’s natural Regional Park.

NB : A minimum of 6 people required for this day out

A Favorites day-out on horseback

Highly recommended by our clients.

Departure at 10 am, via the beaches of Saintes Maries de la Mer, gallops guaranteed for confirmed riders, beginner riders carry on at a steady pace with the instructor.
Return to the Equestrian Centre at about 12.30am and pick-nick lunch under the covered sitting area.
Afternoon : departure on horseback and visit of the wild life and flora in the very heart of the Camargue.

This day trip includes about 4 and ½ hours on horse-back.

A day-out on horseback visiting a bull-breeding farm

Departure at 10 am, riding through the Camargue, for a visit on horseback of a bull-breeding farm, returning about 5.30 pm.
Possibility for those not on horsebacks to join us, on a towed cart, for the visit of the farm.

INITIATION PROGRAM
Durée : 1h

BEACH PICNIC PROGRAM
Arrive at Les Arnelles in the morning. Tour the premises and be introduced to your horse: your new mate. 3h ride to the beaches of Les Saintes Marie de la Mer where you will have lunch. Bus return.
NB: program can switch, with lunch at the center then ride in the afternoon.
Return to center at 4.30pm.

DAY BREAK PROGRAM
Arrive at Les Arnelles in the morning. Tour the facilities with the Guardian, introduction to Camargue equitation.
10am: Ride to the lakes; wetlands and wild shores of Les Saintes Marie de la Mer.
1pm: Drinks and local brunch on the beach.
3pm: Ride back to the center along L’Etang de Vaccares and the Camargue nature reserve.
5pm: back to the center
Dinner: Drinks and finger foods, Provencal starter.
Timber wood fired grilled meat and Ratatouille (stewed veggies), or Guardians’ Daube (French meat stew) with rice.
Cheese dessert, coffee and wine are included.
NB: 2h long lunch break, 5h long ride.

RANCH PROGRAM
Ride and discovery of a Camargue bull-breeding farm
Meet at 9.30am at Les Arnelles with café and croissants.
Brief introduction to our center with coaching to ensure an enjoyable ride.
10am: Departure to the wetlands and nature reserve of Camargue.
12am: Arrive. Explore the ranch and its horse herds.  Security permitting, you may see a work demonstration.
After the visit, we will head back to the ranch where you will have a drink and finger foods and get to know the Guardians’ culture; traditions and customs. Dinner will consist of a traditional meal.
Return to the center scheduled at 5.30pm, about a 5h ride in total.
NB: non horse riding individuals will do a motorized visit and will reach the ranch by bus.  4×4 safari can be arranged for the way back to the ranch after lunch, about 2h time from 3pm onwards.

2 DAYS 1 NIGHT PROGRAM

Fully enjoy Camargue ; its wetlands, salt flats, never ending fine sand beaches, color hues, the flora and fauna sometimes wild, sometimes warm ; horses, wild bulls… Our instructors will look after you while you enjoy the different aspects of our region for 2 days and 1 night.

PROGRAM
4pm: Meet at Les Arnelles. Enjoy a welcome drink and be introduced to your horse and day program. Our staff will take care of your personal effects.
4.30pm: departure to the east side beach across the wetlands and nature reserve.
7pm: arrival to the sea side with drinks and dinner with friendly local atmosphere.
Sleep out in the open.
8am: breakfast, then ride back to the center.
12h30: Brunch at the center.

We recommend you have some horse riding experience. Children bellow 8 are not recommended. In case of cancellation due to bad weather conditions, all down payments will be refunded.
